An Awesome London Museum of Water and Steam Wedding with Olivia & Deepak
So the first thing you need to know about Olivia and Deepak is that they enjoy a good adventure (if having a water and steam museum wedding wasn’t the first clue).
A Good Adventure
When I first met up with them for a chat about photographing their wedding I learnt a bit about how they enjoy their holidays. While a family might usually take enjoy a family holiday by the sea in France, Olivia and her family would be heading off for a trip to Antartica. The tales they shared were really quite spectacular.
Doing Their Wedding Their Way
This idea of doing it their own way could be seen on their wedding day itself. They both got ready in the same house (although stayed strict on not seeing each other before the ceremony, which let to some interesting hide and seek in the kitchen area). Olivia’s family house was a fascinating place with artefacts from cultures across the world.
Even if I hadn’t been privy to their adventures before that day, the house surely showed off the worldliness of the family.
A Wedding at the London Museum of Water & Steam
Another element of the day that highlighted their unique way of doing things was the venue itself, the London Museum of Water & Steam. And dam was it a cool venue. Brimming with steam and water related shenanigans the museum provide the perfect venue for an energy and fun filled afternoon. This was highlighted with the pack in the evening with the old steam works as a back drop.
A massive congratulations to Olivia and Deepak on their awesome Water & Steam Museum wedding and best of luck in all their future adventures!! Ps Also a big thanks to the Canbys for putting me in contact with this awesome couple!
