Christmas Holiday Photos Along London’s Southbank With Dries and Nele

Dries emailed me a couple of weeks back about the possibility of surprising his girlfriend with some holiday photos of them both. Nice guy right? They were both visiting London for a few days from Belgium between Christmas and New Years. What I hadn’t realised was that Dries had kept the shoot a secret right up until we met, leaving me to explain to Nele who I was and what was going on.

Exploring London with Couples

One of the great bits about taking holiday photos for couples visiting is it gives me a chance to share some of my favourite parts of London. I recommended a stroll along the Southbank. Walking from Westminster around to the Millennium Bridge you get to experience a great range of what London has to offer. From iconic London landmarks (House of Parliament, London Eye and St Pauls) to street entertainment (buskers and performers), market stalls, street art and the famous Skate Park outside Festival Hall.

Still Young at Heart

Dries and Nele were an absolute blast to hang out with. They spent most of the time laughing (even when Dries ‘accidentally’ dropped Nele) and messing about. Their energy was contagious and the time with them flew by. I think they summed it up best by saying that although they were in their mid twenties, they were still young teenagers at heart.

Bring on 2016!

This was my last photography job of 2015 and it was a great one to wrap up what has been and incredible year! I hope everyone has a fantastic New Years Eve! Bring on 2016!
