A Fun Filled Minstrel Court Wedding with the Extremely Cool Deena and Anders

Ever since shooting their fun, American football themed, engagement session earlier this summer I’ve been super excited for Anders and Deena’s wedding at Minstrel Court. One reason being that they are a pair of the coolest people you’ll ever meet!

Minstrel Court Wedding Venue

The venue they chose was adorable. Sat in the English countryside between London and Cambridge Minstrel Court has a beautiful lake side pavilion for the ceremony with great light (making my job a lot easier), ruins, a cute little bridge, both outdoor and indoor (it is England after all) areas for the reception and a great marquee space for the dinner.

Deena’s dress was absolutely stunning! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it before. Even the wedding cake had been created with the same design. Very cool.

An Awesome Crowd

The guests were awesome! They were fun and energetic, patient during the formals, welcoming and engaging when I joined them for the meal, and had some great moves on the dance floor. A special hats off to the best man Malachi, dam that guy can move.  Also can’t go without mentioning the speeches which were a great blend of laughs and tears.

Epic Wedding Dance Floor Action

It was great to see Deena & Anders taking the lead on the dance floor. The highlight came for me when they started playing Afro Beats tunes. A couple of years ago I spent 6 months living in Freetown, Sierra Leone which has a big night life scene that left me with many a great memory of dancing the night away on the beach. So when the DJ through on two of my favourite songs from that time – Azonto and Chop My Money, I was taken right back!

A Sparkler Finale

The night was wrapped up with a classic sparkler exit which thanks to the efforts of the grooms men in organising everyone into a tunnel worked beautifully (even if next morning I woke up to the smell of singed hair…). Great finish to an awesome day!
