Winter Engagement Photography Shoot in London

Pernilla and Daniel are a couple of jet-setters (they make the amount of traveling I do appear dismal) from Sweden/UK/Florida were in London for a few days to visit the family. But that’s not all. Daniel had a surprise in store for Pernilla. He had gotten in contact with me the previous week explaining that he was planning to propose to his fiancé and would love an engagement shoot the following day around London. I was definitely in as I’ve had a lot of fun winter engagement photography shoots around London. Plus these too sounded like an awesome couple. Something they certainly lived up to.

After kicking things off next to Westminister Bridge with some photos of Parliament and Big Ben we took a stroll along the Southbank. Ensuing shenanigans included playing around with leaves and squirrels (all them), warming up with mulled wine, hanging with Christmas carollers and exploring some of London’s side streets.

Daniel had chosen Somerset House to ask Pernilla to marry him. A fine choice, especially this time of year when they have a giant Christmas tree and iceskating rink. It was in the very same spot that we took the final photo of our shoot (scroll down to the bottom of this post to view).

I wish these two all the best in all their future travels and adventures! Of which I’m sure there will plenty.

If you’d like to have an engagement photography shoot in London then please get in contact to check my availability. I’d also be happy to answer any questions you might have.
