Stuart & Daniel’s Leeds Castle Wedding in Kent

“Matt you are a genius! Not only are they a masterclass in photography but they are absolutely stunning pictures that really captured the atmosphere, enjoyment and laughter of the day. You and your photos have been real stars of our wedding!” – Stuart & Daniel

A Massive Thanks to Andreea

Credit for booking this Leeds Castle wedding has to go to my awesome girlfriend Andreea. Whilst working with Stuart one day in the office she discovered that he was planning his wedding and hadn’t yet booked a photographer. She then (I’m guessing not so subtly) hinted that she might know someone. I met up with Stuart & Daniel the following week at the very cute cafe La Bottega and the rest was history.

Introducing Daniel and Stuart

A fun and interesting couple Daniel and Stuart while different in many respects make a perfect fit. They actually reminded me quite a bit of my relationship with Andreea. During their Borough Market engagement shoot I learnt about their joint passions for travel and photography. These guys just keep getting better and better. Stuart even brought his Nikon DSLR along to the shoot.

Why have your Wedding at Leeds Castle?

Anyways back to the wedding. Their choice of venue was the magnificent Leeds Castle. A little misleadingly named as it is actually located in Kent. The vast grounds were stunning, the rooms very lord like and the castle even had it’s own moat surrounding it. The level of service from the staff was fantastic, some of the best I’ve ever seen at a wedding venue. Everything was done with military precision. The whole day and night was filled with joyous energy! So much so I needed the entire following day to recover from it.

Highlights from the Day

High points for me included the editing of the vows to “this ring which I forged’ (yep they forged each others rings), a beautifully designed programme they made with info on all the guests and their travel photos, a golf buggy ride for the portraits, a fantastic meal in the Henry VIII banqueting hall, karaoke enthusiastically led by the Americans and dancing until my feet were sore.

A big shout out to all of Stuart & Daniel’s friends and family who came from far and wide (Malaysia, USA & Sweden to name a few). They were an absolute blast to spend the day with and certainly knew how to party!

Wishing Daniel & Stuart all the best in their future adventures together! Btw I just discovered that Daniel and Stuart will be swimming the equivalent length of the English Channel next month in aid of a Dementia charity. If you’d like to support them here is their page.
