A Summer Fun Filled Hitchin Lavender Fields Engagement Shoot with the Awesome Tatum & James
Last Friday I had the pleasure of shooting the super fun engagement session of Tatum & James at the Hitchin Lavender fields.
Escaping from the London – and Yay Pimms!
After over an hour stuck in London rush hour traffic with no air-conditioning on the hottest day of the year so far it was blissfully refreshing to find myself out of London in the lavender fields. And the cherry on the cake…Tatum & James had brought me an ice cold refreshing can of Pimms! Another reminder of how lucky I am to have such amazing couples.
Why the Hitchin Lavender Fields for an Engagement Shoot?
We began with the main reason T&J had chosen this location – the lavender fields. Playing around amongst the rows of strong scented purple flowers was a joy, even if the bees kicked up a bit of a fuss.
After ticking the lavender box we went exploring and found a whole host of entertaining things to play with, including a barn, tractor, horses, a wheat field, flags, an oddly placed shed, a cat and some crayons. Tatum and James were fantastic and open to any crazy ideas I came up with.
I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next month!!
