Concettina & Finlay’s Greek, Italian & British Landmark London Wedding Photos

Earlier summer I had the pleasure of partying the night away at Concettina and Finlay’s awesome multicultural wedding at the Landmark London hotel. Concettina brought the Italian and Greek crowd and Finlay the British contingent. All the cultures came together in an amazing fusion of celebration. And as usual, it was the people that made it. Everyone was so welcoming and full of energy (especially on the dance floor) . Thanks again Concettina and Finlay for inviting me to share in your epic day!

Roman Catholic Ceremony at St Peter’s Italian Church

Their Roman Catholic ceremony took place at St Peter’s Italian church in Holborn. A stunning building filled with detailed design and some lovely light. Along with the beautiful moments and spiritual aspects there was also some humour. On a few occasions you could tell Finlay was less than certain of what his next move should be during the ceremony. Usually this resulted in most parties at the alter putting great effort into holding back the giggles.

Wedding reception at the Landmark London Hotel

After a short drive in a rather nice ride we arrived at the beautiful Landmark London Hotel located next to Marylebone Station. Here we found some lovely light to play with on the stairs for some portraits. The staff were lovely and very accommodating and the space for the dinner and party very grand.

A Greek, Italian & British Combo Fusion Wedding

I always enjoy photographing fusion weddings. It’s really cool seeing how the couple pull out the best bits of each culture and how it all mixes together. Finlay’s  speech involved some signs (held up by Concettina’s brother) which were translated into Greek, Italian and English. They saw quite an impact from the crowd.

My favourite mix had to come on the dance floor where they had the Greek Money dance and some traditional Italian dancing. The British side was represented by Finlay’s mad DJing skills playing old school classics which his 14 ushers (yep 14 ushers vs 3 bridesmaids) certainly appreciated. This was followed up by an awesome performance from the band. As hopefully the below photos show, the party was epic!

If you’re planning a wedding at the Landmark London Hotel or any where else then I’d love to hear from you!
