St Mary’s Old Church Wedding Photos in North London with the Awesome Emily & Terry

You may remember Emily & Terry from their New Forrest Engagement Shoot as the couple who will shortly be departing on an 18-month honeymoon around the world. A fact hard to forget or not feel incredibly jealous about. Well, they’re now back on the blog with their super fun St. Mary’s Old Church Wedding in North London. Their adventurous, fun and kind-hearted nature left me very excited for their September wedding. My expectations were met and then some! Even the slight sadness of missing that evening’s world cup rugby game between England and Wales was soon forgotten (a game I later even regretted recording).

The Wedding Day

The whole day was filled with great moments including plenty of laughs and tears (won’t name names…Terry). During the speeches even I got goosebumps. After popping into Clissold Park for some quick fun portraits I left Emily & Terry enjoying a little peace and quiet with the ice-cream van (one of the bonus’ of a London wedding). I was lucky enough to join them for the meal where I experience one of my favourite pies to date. If you know me you’ll know I appreciate my pies. A nice touch was the old Polaroid camera doing the rounds (even capturing me at one point). It’s always nice to have physical copies of your photos to enjoy.

The guests were an awesome bunch from all over the place who were very welcoming and friendly. A special shout out should probably go to the Bridesmaids who were often in the background keeping things moving seamlessly forward.

Why Might Your Pick St Mary’s Old Church as a Wedding Venue?

Venue wise, we got to enjoy the great combo of St Mary’s rather grand church for the ceremony. Followed by the traditional Rose & Crown pub for drinks and nibbles. And finally, the character-filled Old St Mary’s church on the corner of Clissold Park for dinner and dancing the night away. Not only did the locations offer a very cool range of surroundings but they were all within about 3 minutes walk of each other so no risk of losing one of the guests in transit.

The night finished off with loads of epic moves on the dance floor which even saw one of my flashes going on a little adventure across the room. Happy to announce the tough little fella survived.

The Adventure of a Life Time
