Short Wedding Photography Coverage perfect for Intimate London Elopement and Registry Office Weddings
Planning a wedding in 2020/21 has been like navigating a minefield of frustration and heartbreak. I’ve experienced this both as a wedding photographer (helping my couples find new dates while dealing with the impact on my business) and as an engaged couple myself (my fiancé and I were due to get married in May).
To help provide something more tailored for other couples in this situation, I’ve created a new smaller wedding photography package for more intimate celebrations. Full details of my ‘short coverage wedding photography’ package can be found below.
This package is a great solution if you’re having a smaller gathering now, with a view to a bigger celebration when restrictions are lifted.
If you’d like to check my availability for your wedding, even if it’s short notice, you can call me (07905132223) or drop me an email ([email protected]).
What’s Included in my Micro Wedding Photography Package?

£800
(Option to add additional hours at £280 per hour)
"After seeing the pictures, we could not be happier. They are absolutely stunning. They captured our personalities perfectly. Matt has a great eye and we ended up with gorgeous photos. His pictures were exactly what we were looking for! I could not recommend him more highly."

What does the 2 hours photography coverage usually cover?
Most of my couples ask me to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to capture their guests arriving. After photographing the ceremony I can document any celebrations you have (eg confetti and champagne). A lot of my couples also ask for some formal group photos of their family and some wedding portraits with just the two of them. For the portraits, I always do a little scout beforehand to find the best spots nearby. I photograph wedding portraits in a really relaxed style, perfect for those that usually feel uncomfortable in front of the camera.
Ultimately, how you use the 2 hours is up to you. For example, if you’re planning a first look or would like some photos of you getting ready, I can arrive earlier. Some couples also prefer to do their portrait photos before their ceremony which is another option.
FAQs for Short Coverage Wedding Photography Packages
Will you wear a mask?
I will wear a mask at any point we are indoors (eg during the ceremony). I don’t usually wear a mask outdoors but I’d be happy to do so if this made you feel more comfortable.
Do you take group photos?
Yes – but please note that I will have to follow government guidelines regarding social distancing. If you choose to organise yourselves into groups that go against government guidelines, I can not be held responsible.
What if there is a lockdown and we have to reschedule?
If you are forced to postpone your wedding due to government rules (eg a lockdown) I’d be happy to move my services to your new date without any extra fees. If I am not available for your new date I can provide an associate photographer of similar quality and style to take my place.
Do you follow social distancing rules?
Yes – during my time with you I will keep my distance and not make physical contact with you or anything belonging to you (eg flowers, bags etc).
What precautions are you taking to avoid getting Coronavirus?
Since March I’ve been taking precautions both with my business and in my personal life. I don’t take public transport and have avoided indoor public spaces where possible. I also follow guidelines regarding masks and hand washing.
If we’re planning a bigger celebration next year can you photograph both?
Absolutely! While it’s been nice capturing intimate celebrations since lockdown, I can’t wait to return to full weddings unhindered by social distancing and government restrictions. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer to capture your awesome celebrations I’d love to chat with you!
As an added incentive, if you book me to photograph your big celebration in addition to your smaller one, I will gift you £200 off.
