After our fun and energetic engagement/family session in Richmond Park earlier in the summer I was so psyched for this wedding at Cantley House. It certainly didn’t disappoint.
Beautiful bride, an inspiring couple, fun atmosphere, super powerful speeches, a very close and equally fun family and friends vibe, cheeky kids and some crazy moves on the dance floor. Even the weather held off during the Bride & Groom’s first photos together as a married couple allowing us to make the most of the amazing canopy of greens, yellows, orange browns and reds that presents itself this time of year.
As a wedding photographer you are in the unique position to get an intimate glimpse into the world of people you may have only met once before. It’s an amazing way to spend a day. As a consequence, the day after a wedding I find myself both physically and emotionally spent (in a good way).
A totally inspiring couple and I hope our paths cross again in the future.
A brief shout out to Cantley House which really stood out for me as a wedding venue. The building and grounds were beautiful, but what really made it were the staff. Not only did they treat the bride, groom and their guests like royalty, they were also super accommodating and friendly to me.
