Steven & Amy’s Tower Bridge Proposal Photos5 Reasons that make this one of the best proposal spots in London
Steven and Amy’s story started seven years ago in a busy catering company kitchen. Steven was the sous chef, Amy a catering consultant. Fast forward nearly six years of being together, and their shared love for food and travel brought them all the way from the US to London for a much-deserved holiday.
It was Steven’s first time across the pond, Amy’s second visit, and this trip was already shaping up to be something special. What Amy didn’t know was that Steven had a surprise planned that would take this trip to a whole new level.

5 Reasons to Propose At Tower Bridge
1. It’s instantly iconic & very London
Tower Bridge is one of the most recognisable landmarks in the world. You get that immediate wow factor, and it shouts “London”.
2. Perfectly central
It’s right in the heart of the city. You’re steps away from many fantastic options to celebrate your engagement, including top restaurants, bars, and 2 of the best viewpoints in the City – the Sky Garden and the Shard.
3. Historic charm
This bridge has seen a lot over the years. Proposing here has a timeless feeling to it. You also have the Tower of London right across the River Thames.
4. Great near-bye photo locations
In just a short walk, you can hit so many great spots for your engagement photos following your proposal. Shad Thames, the Tower of London, The South Bank, The Shard, London Bridge and Borough Market. These locations provide a great range.
5. Quiet moments in a big city
While it can get busy at certain times, I know a couple of quiet spots offering the benefits of intimacy with the impressive backdrop of Tower Bridge.

Amy & Steven's Tower Bridge Proposal Story
It was a perfect London morning. Blue skies, warm sun, and the city just starting to wake up. Steven proposed to Amy right in front of Tower Bridge, with the iconic arches framing the moment. She said yes!
These two were a ton of fun to hang out with. Super down-to-earth and clearly made for each other. As we wandered through the Shad Thames, strolled past HMS Belfast, and soaked up the energy on the South Bank, we chatted about food (of course).
Borough Market (the final spot on our engagement shoot) came up a lot. I recommended my favourite sandwich from the Black Pig called “the best one,” and they seemed just as obsessed with food adventures as I am.
I also dropped one of my favourite little London facts: the real London Bridge? It’s not here. It’s sitting in the Arizona desert.

Final Thoughts
Tower Bridge is one of the most popular locations to propose in London for good reason. It brings together history, beauty, and strong London vibes.
If you’re planning to pop the question here and want someone to capture the whole story, I’d love to help you make it happen.
